 The black
mold in this bathroom was caused by a leaking shower pan, making the
family and the pets ill, especially the little dog who was closest
to the floor.Keep in
mind that this was not just an "interior design" job, but a home health
project. The floor, subfloor, toilet, shower and tub were removed and
replaced.

This is
the original bathroom. You can't really see it in this photo but under
the green rug was a huge bubble in the flooring, the size of a
trashcan lid, that had risen up from the dampness and the gasses
causes by the toxic mold. It was so much of a bubble that the
homeowner actually tripped over it many times when entering the
bathroom.

more updated and modern feel. |
